Final Blog entry

Through all of my blogging this summer I have learned some new things, and my typing has improved a whole lot because of this. The things that I liked about this blogging was that you could set your backgrounds to different kinds of pictures and designs and also I liked that you could put pictures up and pretty much do whatever you wanted to your blog. The things that I didn't like about the blogging was that it felt time consuming and since I had to do it for class I didn't like to do blogs every week because I felt that I was being made to do it. Also I am not that good with computers so I didn't much like this part of class. Ways that I have changed as a writer through doing this was that I think I became a better writer and my speed increased by a lot.
I am sitting in my house right now just getting off of work and having to type and I am really tired and all I wanna do it sleep. These are the days I really don't like to blog. My mind feels empty and without any thought about what to write. I have had some hard times trying to blog especially when my computer decided to stop working so now I am having to use the library and other peoples computers to get all of my homework done and it has really made a difference on all of my assignments and mostly my blogs. This blogging has made me more social about things in life and I for my final coming up I hope that all of this typing and work has  payed off. I really think it has because my grades are really good.

Over all my summer has been okay I am glad that this semester is almost over! I want a little sleep now. I have worked almost every weekend but I have had some good days of hanging out by the pool and watching some movies. I can't really sleep so I thought this would be a good opportunity to write. I can't wait until tomorrow I am going to wake up early and pack my bag to go and see my fiance and he is going to take me out to eat and then we are going to go across the ferry which will be my first time. We are going to a scuba diving store to see how much it would be to get me into classes and he wants to buy some more gear. For as long as I have been visiting protem I havn't been across the ferry. that's kind of sad. I guess there is a first time for everything. When we are done looking at all of the scuba stuff I am really wanting to go swimming down by the lake before I have to go to work.
I am still counting down the days until my south carolina trip!  I need a good break from it all:) I didn't get to go on my georgia trip this summer because it was the time of classes and I was really bummed out.

In the past year I have gotten some certificates and there are more things that I want to do really soon. I just recently got my boating license and I finally came in the mail today. I am so excited because now I am able to rent a jet ski or a boat if I wanted to which will come in handy some next summer. Also I got my hunting license which I had been wanting for a long time and I now I can actually use and gun and stuff instead to sit and watch. I need to get some more practice with guns but I really like to use a bow when I hunt. It seems a little easier that way. My main accomplishment was getting my nurse assistant certificate and I will be getting to work In one of the facilities very soon.
I am hoping that in the future I will get my scuba license. Me and my fiance have been looking at getting me in classes and getting some gear for me so he and I can start going together. I got to go out in his gear to see if I would even like it and I had fun. He put me in a few feet of water and I got to swim around a little bit. I think it will be a cool hobby to have especially since he lives just a couple miles from the lake. He just got to go diving this past weekend and I couldn't go. I felt a little bummed out but soon I will get my certification.
I am also going to work on getting my EMT when we get married because I will be living in town with him and he is already on the fire department and he is wanting to wait for me and we can take the classes together. The cool part is that the classes are going to be free and I will have some more medical under my belt. When he gets calls on the fire department and he is with me the chief lets me tag along and it is such an adrenalin rush and exciting to see him at work.
I don't know what else I would like to get done but I want to be able to do all kinds of things that require some kind of training. I am sure it will take me a while but it will all be worth it! The one that I want to badly is the scuba license I will be going out in the water all of the time.

last summer

Last summer I remember doing some fun things like one warm day my boyfriend at the time and me took the canoe out and we went out on the water for hours going around the bends and having so much fun we had rowed and rowed and took a couple breaks to jump into the water and cool off from the heat which got hotter and hotter as the hours progressed. I didn't know how we were going to make it back because we had gone so far and we were going with the wind so on the way back we were going to have to go against the wind. We turned around once we felt we got far enough and started back the other way and as I looked I could barely see the bridge that we started at and my arms were about to give up on me. I had taken a ton of breaks and I felt pretty bad that I didn't do much work on the way back but he said it was okay. In the morning I was more sore than I had ever been in my life. I obviously don't work out ever! When I asked my boyfriend how he felt he was all fine. He was at an advantage though because he is always outside and lifting heavy things for work. I was so embarrassed that I was sore the next morning and he wasn't. But we had taken the canoe out  several times last summer and I finally got to the point where I wasn't sore and tired at the end of it all. He took me on the lake which was harder that the river but one day we spent the day on a canoeing trip and it was a whole lot of fun. It was so beautiful outside and I saw some of the most pretty houses by the lake. There was even this one logged house and it look like a mansion and leading to the back of the house was a walk way to the lake which had chairs, fire pit, and one of those bed looking things in the tree.( I lost my train of thought). I'm hoping to go again this summer but it has been so busy we haven't made any plans for it yet.

summer classes

I chose to take three summer classes this summer and I didn't realize how hard this was going to be. It wasn't so bad at first but now I am finding myself doing something for one of the classes if not all of them. I am doing good in the classes but I am working my butt off to get it all done. From taking an online class I have learned more about computers and I have become a bit more of a better writer and I have become a little more faster than I was. Summer classes have gotten me up and around instead of just sitting around all the time and I am constantly using my brain. I haven't become so bored this summer because now I do have a lot on my plate to do.
If I have any recommendations for taking summer classes I would have to say that you need to make sure you don't work constantly especially if you have three classes. I think it is too much of a work load because everything is crammed into just eight weeks. I wouldn't even recommend taking three classes at all unless you don't want to do anything fun! My experience has been very stressful and I am glad that week eight is around the corner. I shouldn't have to take anymore online courses because this was going to be my get ahead summer and it was a lot harder than I thought. I think I would have done better if I had only taken 2 but A's are good enough for me.

Dream Job

In two years I have a plan to accomplish a lot of things and these things include: I am going to be finished with all of my schooling and prerequisites for the nursing program and also should have completed the nursing program. Right now this is my main goal to accomplish. I have wanted to be a nurse for a really long time but before that I wanted to be a vet but in high school I ended up getting my certified nurses assistant certificate so I thought I would just continue with the whole nursing thing so I wouldn't have to back track. I don't regret one bit of my decision. One day I want to be able to really help someone and make their lives easier. This is rewarding to me and I'm sure for anyone in the medical field.
I haven't decided if I am going to stop there though because I think I might really enjoy Anesthesia and I would really like to go to more schooling to become a registered nurse anesthetist. But for now I have to further my education in nursing and when I decide to I can start the anesthesia program. The medical route is definitely the way to go because there are very good benefits and the money is really good. There is always going to be a job in the hospitals and I want to be looked at as being that person who loves to help other people.

South Padre Island

When I was younger I got to go on a family trip to South Padre Island in Texas. For some reason I can remember a lot about it which is very cool. But the trip was in July and we drove all the way to stay with my aunt and uncle and their two kids at the time. I was so excited because I had always wanted to go and visit them for a long time. The trip was very long and tiring but when we go to Texas there were so many cars, people, and humongous buildings. I remember this one building that was a kind of sky blue color and so tall. One night we ended up staying in a hotel and my cousin katie got to feed the seagulls and I remember her screaming and jumping around because one of them had pooped on her. It was one of the funniest things I ever seen and I was so glad that it wasn't me.
We spent one of the days getting toured around and we had gotten to eat at a restaurant and see my family's house. One our way to go and say hi to my aunt at work I remember it started to pour down rain so hard that no one on the road could see out of their windows. that was the hardest rain I had ever seen! Later on to get closer to the beach for the next day we all stayed in a hotel that had pools and hot tubs and I thought it was awesome because there was an under water bar. We stayed by the pool until the parents made us get out. I slept like a baby that night.
The next morning was the morning that we got to go to the beach and it would be the first time for me so I was so hyper and excited. We packed up a ton of food and drinks for the day and we were about an hour away from the beach so it was a bit of a long drive for me but when we got there I jumped out of the car and ran towards the sand. The sand was so moist and warm between my toes. I was a little nervous to go into the water because of sharks so I didn't go out too deep at first but in some parts of the water you could go far out and it would get deep than shallow it was so awesome. I sat close to the shore and barry my legs in the sand and let the tide come in and clean all the sand off. Me and my cousins would barry each other into the sand and I made my first sandcastle on a real beach. I was pretty proud of it.
One last thing that I can remember from the trip was that we spent the actual fourth of July at my aunt and uncles house and we shot of a whole bunch of firework in the neighborhood. Some day it would be fun to go back to Texas and visit. My family doesn't live there anymore but it was a really fun trip that I will never forget.

Branson

I got to thinking about Branson after talking about the water park and there are so many things that I want to do there. The night after the recreation center my brother, fiance, and I went for a drive through Branson It had been a while since I had gone through there and I loved all of the bright lights, and I enjoyed seeing all the families and friends having so much fun. I have only done a couple things since I have visited and I wish I had one day where I could just do everything all at once. My list of to do's would look like this:
1. go on all of the go cart tracks which I havn't gotten to do.
2. see some of the shows, this I have never gotten to do.
3. go into the ripley's believe it or not and check everything out.
4. go into the wax museum
5. I need to go to the dixie stampeed again. I awlways injoyed the shows they put on.
6.I have only been to white water once and I forgot what it was like but when we went through we got to see people sliding down the tall slides.
7. I want to go into the titanic. This would probably be very educational.
8. go on a shopping spree in the mall
.
.
The list could go on and on and obviously I havn't been to Branson that much but before I am old I will have definitly been to every single thing in branson.

The Dentists Office

Today I had to go to the dentist to get some fillings. I was really nervous walking in because I knew that I was going to have to get a couple shots in my gums. After checking in and waiting for just a few minutes my name was called. I had to sit in a little room and the assistant got me ready like putting the paper in front of me getting my safety glasses and numbing my mouth with the gel type stuff so the right side of my mouth couldn't be felt. The gel really did work I couldn't feel my cheek and my lips and half of my tongue was numb. It was the most weird feeling ever
After I was completely numb the Doctor was called in to give me the shots. By then I was a little freaked out. He said that I could try without the shot but I knew I would probably not be able to take the drilling without something. So he proceeded to give me the numbing shot and I felt a little pinch which wasn't as bad as I thought but one time he had to move the needle to a different part of my mouth and I definitely felt that one. once the anesthesia kicked in I wasn't able to feel a thing. The Doctor worked for a couple of hours and I was finished.Walking out I still was numb and I tried to eat some lunch and that didn't work out so well and I just got over the numbness about an hour ago and right now I wish I was still numb because the right side of my face is very sore now. I hope it starts to feel better by the time I go to class in one hour, but we will see.

Water park

This past weekend I got to go to this type of rec. water park place in Branson and it was really fun. My mom's side of the family were all there for my cousin's sixth birthday party. I thought it was all gonna be kid stuff but actually there were water slides and a diving board, I really had a ton of fun. My aunt rented the whole place out for like three hours and we had everything to ourselves. I went on one of the slides so many times, it was very fast and I couldn't see much because all of the water in my face.
I went on the diving board a few times and I finally got enough courage to do a front flip off of it. I hadn't done that in such a long time and I thought it wasn't going to turn out good at all but everyone said it turned out good. One of the times I tried to do a trick the water hit my back and that didn't feel very good.
After we all got some swimming in we got to have some cake and drinks and chips and let him open his presents. I had fun at a six year olds birthday party. After messing around on all of the bigger things I thought it would be fun to try out the little kid stuff. I had a blast to say the least. I might have looked goofy but my inner kid came out and it was worth it! Ive been to a few centers that have parks like this one but this one in Branson was one of my favorite.

why I like and dislike them

Spring: This is the season that I can say is my favorite of them all. The reasoning for this is because it when you get to start seeing all of the pretty flowers and the weather is just perfect. I am a person who actually likes to have rain showers in the spring because afterwards you get to see beautiful rainbows, not all the time but I have a few times. This is the season for picnics and walks in the park. It's not too hot and not too cold. You can have your windows open and get a really nice breeze throughout the rooms and the air smells fresh.
Summer: This is the season also for fun but also comes all the horrible heat especially these past weeks. We haven't seen the end of the heat just yet. The positives about this season are that you get to go swimming to get cooled off from the horrible heat. Also riding out in the boat is one of the most fun parts of the summer:) I love hanging out with the family and laying out on the raft all day. We have friends that brought their jet ski out this summer but they sold it which really sucks. I really like to get ice cream in the summer after a long day of school or work.
Fall: This is the season when all the pretty leaves start to come out. I love to watch day after day the change in all the nature. But this is the season when it starts to get colder and I really like the warmer weather. In the fall though there are a couple times where there is a really nice day and still can wear short sleeves which I like a lot. Usually this is when some of our four wheeling trips come too on those nice fall days.
Winter: This is the season that I don't really look forward to because it is very cold and there is a ton of staying in the house. I don't like scraping snow off of my windshield in the mornings because my hands go completely numb and driving in the snow on the streets is really scary. What I do like about this time of the year is that there are family get together more because of Christmas time. I love eating all of the food up. This use to be my favorite time of the season when I was a little kid because of all the snow ball fights, igloos, and snow men. But now days I don't do much of that.

Movies

I love to watch a lot of movies and there are so many out there I don't know which one would have to be my favorite? So instead of talking about one movie ill just talk about some and what types of movies are my favorite. Well I love all the scary, sad,and funny movies there isn't one type that I would refuse to watch. My favorite place to watch movies at would have to be the IMAX because the screen is so huge and I don't end up missing any parts of what is going on and I feel like I am right inside the movie and one of the characters. I haven't been to that movie theatre in forever it seems like and I'm going to have to make a trip up there to maybe see the new Harry Potter. Yes I am definitely a fan! The shows there may cost a whole lot more but I really think the experience it worth it.But when I don't go there I am either at the theatre in town or my fiance and I love to rent movies and pop some popcorn and sit on the couch. Since I have been taking summer classes it has been really hard to be able to get out there and go watch some new movies because I am always on the computer working on something from one of my three classes. Hopefully I will get to catch up soon after this semester is over.
This past weekend I had gotten to watch that little red riding hood movie with the real actors in it and I thought the movie was really good. It had come out a little while ago and I have been wanting to watch it and finally did! It turned out as good as I thought and it wasn't at all predictable to me. I was really surprised at the end.
I have been wanting to watch the new Harry Potter movie for a while now because I have all the the movies ever made and I just fell in love with them. It sucks that this is going to be their last one. But good movies come to an end sometime. You know how some movies come out and they end up really good then the second and third and so on come out and they have new characters? The Harry Potter movies have never done that. Maybe that's why I liked them so much and they always got my attention.
Last another movie that I am always waiting for a new one to come out would have to be Twilight. I like the movies because of the action and adventures and the movies make me want more and they make me wonder what will happen next. I don't know when the new one is going to come out, but I am hoping really soon.

Joyous moment

Looking back on some joyous moments that I have had I thought of one really recent one. I had spent twelve years reading all kinds of books, sitting in hard chairs, and doing a whole lot of writing. It was so boring and it seemed like it was taking forever and ever but finally in may I got to put all of that aside and finally walk across a stage I thought would take forever to get to. I was a very exciting day when I graduated. The night before I could barely sleep and a month before I picked out the dress that I wanted to wear and shoes. The day of we all had to get there hours earlier than everyone else to go over the routine that we had already practiced the day before. Friends had to help each other put on some pieces of the gown that I don't even know the name of and lined up in so many rows that we were going to be in and show all of our faces to hundreds of people.
As we all walked down stairs and through halls to where we were going to be sitting, as we got closer I could here tons of families and friends yelling and clapping to those who had already walked through the doors. I was getting more and more nervous every step that I took. I was finally my turn to go through the door with my friend and when I looked up I saw all of my family smiling, clapping, and taking pictures. After that moment I wasn't as scared. Of course we had to endure all of the talk and band. But when I walked across the stage I felt like a whole new person and I could do anything I wanted!

South Carolina Trip

I am so excited! In just a little over two weeks I will be going on my South Carolina trip with my fiance and his younger brother. We will be flying on a plane from missouri and stopping somewhere but I don't remember to board another and then we will be on our way to South Carolina. I havn't met all of his family yet and that weekend I will get to. I am really nervous and scared that they won't like me, but I am going to have to be more positive. When we get right off the plane we get to head straight to one of the water parks and spend the day there. We will also get to go to the beach hopefully a ton and we will also get to go rock climbing which I have never done before. At nights we all will be staying in some type of caboos thing. This sounds like it will be a ton of fun. I don't know all the details to the trip, but it will be a much needed one after taking my first classes at college this summer. I plan to relax a lot and enjoy my days there because fall classes will be starting up really soon after. I personally think that I have worked my butt of and I have been getting really great grades because of all my work but I just have two more weeks to go and I am counting down the days until I get to go on my amazing trip. Besides all of the fun I have lots of worries on my mind like: What will I talk about to his family?, Will I get along with all of them?, Am I what they expected for their son or whatever he may be? all of these questions will keep running through my mind until I meet them all. So I am wishing myself good luck!

What Would I Be?

If I could choose to be any animal in the world I think I would choose to be a bald eagle. I would choose to be a bird becuase they can fly all over the world and just be free. They don't have a care in the world, no one to have to listen to. They don't have to go through all of the schooling that humans have to. They have really good hearing and they can see things from far away distances.
If I was a bald eagle I would travel all over the place. I would go where the weather was cool, warm, and hot. Realistically though some of those conditions would be a bad thing, But I'm just using my imagination. The good thing about being a bald eagle would be that I couldn't get caught by just who ever and I wouldn't get hurt because there would be so few of my kind of bird. I would be one of the most admired type of bird in the U.S. If I was a bald eagle I wouldn't want to be captured by the zoo because I would hate to be trapped in a cage day in and day out. If I ended up getting captured I would find some way to get out of there. I would never go anywhere close to a zoo to get captured, but usually the reasons why bald eagles get put in zoo's it because they were most likely injured some how that caused them to be unable to fly or some of them in there were shot and they will never be able to fly again. Getting shot would be a major risk in being an eagle but I think that any other bird would have a greater risk considering the person that put harm to them wouldn't get arrested.

Hopefully I will overcome some of the ones that I think will last for a long time. Only time will tell.

My Perfect Wedding

The time has come where I am finally going to get married. I am so excited about the day. Even though it is close to two years away I have so many ideas for what I want the day to be like. Some of my ideas have changed from when I was younger but I have a lot of plans for my special day. I have always dreamed of that special guy in my life and I have finally found him.He is such and amazing person and he is my best friend. He is there for me for all the things that I want he says "as long as you are happy, I am happy". We have kinda sorta been planning some of it already and saving up money each month to have that dream day.
Some of the plans that I have are that for one thing I would love to have an outdoor type weddding where everyone can injoy the outdoors like I do. I would like to have it before it starts to get too hot in the summer because that would be so dreadful. I have came up with the theme color and I think I would like to have purple, which is my favorite color. I think it would be really cool if I had some white roses all over and for the cake I want one of those fake looking ones like on cake boss. I am in love with all those wedding shows like: Four weddings, say yes to the dress, and even bridezillas. Watching those shows have given me a lot of my ideas. My favorite part of the whole wedding planning will be the day when I get to pick out my wedding dress. I have a whole bunch of things that I like about dresses so I think it will take me a while to pick that perfect one. I still have so many things to think about and plan, but it will be a blast! I am kindof a shy person and my fiance and I are going to have tons of people on the guest list. I am already nervous that I might fall, so ill make sure not to wear heals.

Bad Luck

This last week I ran into a lot of bad luck that kept me from posting more of my blogs. It all started when my computer stopped working. I had just got done with all the big assighnments in my online composition class and had to go to my on campus math class. I had gotten a message that my computer was low on battery but I had had it plugged in the whole time that I was doing my work so that wouldn't happen so I un plugged it and plugged it in again and went to class so I could work some more later and after my afternoon class my computer wouldn't even turn on and I couldn't figure out why because I had it plugged in for a while now. Turns out that the charge cord won't charge my computer and I had just gotten it in may. It has been a task trying to get all of my work done on time. But I still have a warranty on it but my parents are having trouble trying to locate the reciept. This weekend was very stressful because I had to work and I work a ways away from where I live so I had to get as much done as I could. When I had work due on saturday I had planned on going to the library in a town really close to me and when I had gotten to the library it had a closed sign on it, I was so worried about how I would get it all done. So I went back and I had gotten on my aunt teresa's laptop and when I tried to open up the essays her computer wouldn't let me because she didn't have the program that I needed:( I was extremely nervous by that time because work was coming closer and closer. My last resort was to go to my aunt's house on her computer and finally I had worked on my assighnments. She had the write programs that I needed and good service. What happened next put the icing on the cake. Well  I had started to critic one of the essays and I was on the last part and some how I had deleted all of what I had written and I couldn't find it anywhere. Time was still getting to me so I had to redo what I had perviously done. In the end of it all, I got a finished product. That was the most stressful weekend I have had this summer. My computer is in the process of being fixed but until I get it back the stress keeps on coming!

Fourth Of July!

This years fourth of July weekend was really great. I had a lot going on and the days slipped away very fast but I wouldn't have traded it for the world.  Friday morning the family and I drove up to bull shoals lake and unpacked and had a relaxing day. I had gotten to spend some time with my fiance before I had to get to work. That Saturday didn't feel like vacation to me because I had to work that morning and I was in a great mood because I would get off early that day, but the worst thing happened. One of the girls decided to quit so I was being counted on to have to work for the whole day because be were short a person. One of the co-workers I worked with had to go home due to illness and my day wasn't getting any better. I finally got off work and went to the cabin to enjoy my night and relax for the next day. Sunday was a great day I had gotten to go out in the boat all day and swim. I even got that tan I had wanted:)  After getting off of the boat we had a BBQ and watched some fireworks, it was really nice. This year was the first year in like three that I had gotten off of work. My weekend didn't end  there the next day Monday I got to go out in the boat again for a great day and some friends of the family had brought their jet ski which was really cool. I got to watch some more fireworks that night with my fiances brother and close friends. Their display was huge and they had the most beautiful fireworks I have ever seen. So my fourth started out a little rocky but in the end was the best weekend ever!

*Some Of My Family*

1.) My mom is a pretty quiet person, but when she needs to be heard you can hear her. She has raised me and my younger brothers by herself for a long time. She loves to bake all kinds off goodies for all the holidays and for those days she just wants to bake. I am hoping one day that she will open up her own bakery shop. She has talked about how cool it would be to have one. But until then I will enjoy her neat kinds of foods she makes.
2.) My grandparents are the most awesome people in my life. They help me so much with everything that I have. They own a lake house and they are always there every weekend and I like coming down. I practically live there on the weekends. My favorite times there are the days that we have family over and when we all spend time together out on the lake. They have always been there for me my whole life and have helped me so much financially when I have needed it. They have been together for so many years and they are so in love.
3.) I have a lot of siblings so I wasn't gonna talk about everyone separately. Some days we are all getting along and other days we fight but we all love each other and no one could ever break that apart. My older siblings and I get along the majority of the time and it gets easier the older that we all get. I guess this is because we understand more and relate better to life and all kinds of issues. We try to talk and hang out with each other as much as we can even with all of our different schedules. For me to keep a good relationship with my brothers and sisters is so awesome because they will always be there for me and I for them.
4.)My cousins and I have been close since we have been little kids we use to do everything together from playing on the play ground to going to school with some of them. Now we have grown a little apart because some of them have moved states away so it has made it hard to see each other. When the holidays are around that's when we really get to hang out and have some fun.  From not seeing each other for long periods of time we have to re get to know one another. But once we catch up it's like we haven't even been away. This fourth of July was that weekend to see some cousins that lived hours away and it was a really great weekend.
5.)  My fiance is a new family member and he is the most amazing person that I have ever met. He is very outgoing and he spoils me to death:) We live far apart and only see one another on the weekends and we make it work. It is really hard to be away from him for days but when I get to see him again, it is so exciting. On the weekends we have us time and he takes me to the movies and out to eat. It's so much fun. He treats me the way I should be treated, as do I. When the weekend is over its really hard to say goodbye but nice to know I will be seeing him very soon.

Begin This Story With...

There once was a chance I didn't take when on a weekend at the lake there was this humongous bluff hanging off over the lake water. I had been anticipating the summer all year long and the time had come to finally be able to jump off into the water because I was "old enough" according to the parents. I knew in my mind that I would actually do this and it would be so bad. On Saturday, everyone woke up and packed a whole bunch of food and drinks to have a great day by that bluff we had always gone to every year. We all went down to the docks and got into the boats and headed to the bluff. When we got there all the kids grabbed their swimming shoes jumped into the water including me and we started  to climb and jump off of the really small bluffs for an hour or so and needed to take a little brake and have some lunch and get back to our jumping.  Back in the water we all swam in a line according to who was going to jump first and because I was a little nervous I went farther to the back of the line. Climbing up the side of the bluff was pretty nerve wracking because when I looked down  I felt a hundred feet in the air. It was scary thinking about and seeing all of the little loose rocks and dirt. But I made it up to the very top and I had to help count to three for some of the others who jumped off. watching the others made me feel a lot better about doing it, and it didn't look bad at all.
Finally it was my turn to jump and I felt really confident but when I heard "three" my whole body could not move. I stood up there scared to jump. Everyone gave me a few more count downs but I still wouldn't jump so the only thing that I could do was climb down to a lower bluff. It would have been to scary and dangerous to climb all the way down. I was so embarrassed that I chickened out, but when I jumped off the lower one I was so relieved to be back in the water. That was that, the summer that I didn't jump off.

My Get Away

If I had to choose a place where I had to go to get away from all the pressures in the world like family, and work. The place I would choose would have to be my room. I would choose my room because this is where I come to do my homework, sleep, watch television, and even cry. After a long days work or a long weekend down at the lake with family I am always looking forward to heading back home to relax in my room. I love when I first walk in and everything is all organized and neat, just the way I had left it. Everything that I have has its own place but sometimes it can get pretty messy when I have a lot of  life's pressures going on. My room would be my favorite place to get away because it has my favorite colors purple and lime green, all of my favorite pictures, and all of my little nick knacks. When I have a horrible day I like to go into my room, shut the door, and either watch some TV, read, or listen to music to get my mind off of everything that was bothering me. In my room I feel more relaxed and I am able to think about all kinds of positive things that make me happy.

Freewritting about my day

I don't really have much to say today but I can say that I got up very early this morning to drive down to the cabin for a weekend of fun! I am very excited to finally go out in the boat for the first time this year. Right now I am sitting in my car with the door open in front of my job. blah! I only have a few minutes left before I work for the night. I had a pretty good day today while I was here earlier I got to see my fiance for a few hours and he had taken me to eat lunch with him. We don't get to see each other enough and sitting in the car knowing that I am going to see him again after work still makes me miss him a lot. But I just have one more day to work and after that the family, him and I are going to have a wonderful time. I'm looking forward to blogging about my thoughts and what kinds of fun I'm gonna have. I hope this weather stays as hot as it has been. I love it! I am planning on getting a pretty good tan in theses couple of days. Hope every ones weekend will be a whole bunch of fun.

Know Your Audience Blog Post

When the class did our Know Your Audience discussions I was excited to read what everyone had to say about my if you had a million dollars what would you do with is question. I was really excited to read the  responses because from all of our past discussions and responses I saw that everyone had quit a bit to say about all kinds of things. No one was afraid to speak their minds which I thought was really great. The more discussions that go on the more I am seeing that everyone has more and more to say each time, as do I.
I went in to look at what kinds of responses that I had gotten and I was very surprised to see all of the similar yet different replies because they were some what close to what I would have said myself which was great! I read a lot of things that were fun and touching and I have come to the conclusion  that the audience this semester are a lot alike and we have really closely related thoughts. What I really like about what I had read was that everyone was willing to give a big sum of money up to either help someone in their family or put it to charity. It is really nice to see a whole bunch of kindhearted people.
Knowing what I know about the audience and seeing that we are alike in ways and that they have lots to say about topics and want to interact with each other will impact my writing differently by maybe opening up a little more with my writing and putting down in words what I am thinking instead of second guessing myself and wondering if I say this, what will the audience think.( But like Ms. A said " be careful not to invade your own privacy.")

7 Days

If I didn't get to see anyone for seven days because there was no one left and I could do any five major things in that seven days to entertain myself, the five things I would choose would be:
  1. I would visit some amusement parks and stay there all day long and ride rides over and over until I got sick. I would eat and drink a whole bunch of food and drinks until i couldn't eat anymore. But your probably thinking well how could I operate all of the rides and make all of the food? Well I am just pretending here that all the rides could operate themselves and all the food would be cooking by itself. I would do the parks for a couple days and those nights I would stay in hotels near by and swim in the pools.
2. I would make a trip to the I Max theaters and watch a lot of really good movies and eat pop corn and candy. I chose this as one of the five things because I have only been to the I Max once and it was on a school field trip and it was a very educational movie about Lewis and Clarke. But when I was there watching it felt like I was actually in the movie and one of the characters.
3.I would take an awesome car out of one the car lots and drive to a couple states I have never been to and go to all the malls and shop until I dropped. I have never gotten an opportunity to just shop and pick out whatever I wanted in a large amount before and if I had seven days to do it, that would be the perfect time to.
4. I would pick out a jet ski and go to my lake and ride around where ever I wanted for hours and after that I would stay in one of the really big and very nice log cabins for the night and  roast marsh mellows. But riding jet skies wouldn't be all I would do that day I would ride around on four wheelers in the mud.
5. Lastly I would take a horse back riding trip and go on long trail rides and enjoy the outdoors. This would be my favorite thing to do because for one I haven't gotten to ride horses in a long time. I use to have a horse but when I moved into a different house he had to be given to another owner. Even though I haven't gotten to ride them for a while, when I get to that would top all of the four things I listed above.

3 WISHES!

If one day I was granted 3 wishes. I would have a lot of things running through my head at once and I wouldn't know what to say first. But after taking a few minutes to figure out how I would ask for things correctly and maybe a little sneaky. What I would come up with is this:
Wish number one- I would wish to have one billion dollars so that I could spent money on all kinds of neat things that I wanted.
Wish number two- I would wish to live a happy and comfortable life with my family that I will have some day.
Wish number three- I would wish that I could  have an unlimited amount of wishes, so that I could keep on wishing and wishing until I couldn't think of anything more to wish for!
With all those unlimited wishes there are so many things that I would want or need and I could then wish for anything that I wanted. The kinds of things that I would get are probably very similar to a lot of other people. Some of the other things are that I would want my wedding to be perfect and unique to me and my fiance in a couple years. I would also want in a couple years to be a successful RN to be able to help support my future family. I would wish for my children to grow up and live their lives the way that they feel best for them.
For the wants wishes, I would have:
1. Two jet skies for me and my fiance.
2. A beautifully built house over looking the lake.
3. My Mercedes that I have always wanted.
4.Travel all over the world to try new foods.
5. I would have hundreds of acres of land to put my horses on.
6. Have a humongous pool in the back yard with a diving board and slide.
7. I couldn't forget the hot tub also.
I am a material kind of person, but who wouldn't be if they had three wishes?!?!

"Freewrite"

I believe I will have children some day. This will be an amazing time in my life to be called mommy. I will love to watch my children grow up. My favorite times that I will have with them are on holidays. I will spoil them like crazy but they will know how to work hard at things they want in life. I will like to watch them play out on the play ground while me and my husband talk about the great times that we have had. I will be so happy when I get to see them graduate from school but will be sad at the same time. A kind of bitter sweet. The days that I am looking forward to are when me and my husband grow old together and sit outside on the porch as in love as when we met. and having a big huge garden in the back yard filled with all kinds of fruits and vegetables. When our children grown up we will be called grandma and grandpa and like our kids get to spoil them as well.

Typology Reflection

I took the Jung Typology test and I found out a lot of neat things that I agreed with about my self when it comes to writing, but I also read a few things that were disagreeable. When it comes to learning style, the Jung test said that I like material to be planned and organized, I require encouragement, and prefer to study with others. All of these things were on the dot. The only difference was that I have to write ideas on paper before I go right into talking with people. I focus better with organization and having my own thoughts first.
Finally when I got to my writing style the Typology test said that I like to personalize my writing and that I may have trouble with impersonal issues. Also, I had read that my type of learner benefits from revising work. and last it was agreeable that I complete work on time. I really liked the contrasts that I had to the test. Those were that: when I am in a group, I am actually not good at taking the lead. This is because I feel intimidated by others. Writing for me is hard work and unlike what the test said I do not get motivated at all to write and last I am a frequent procrastinator.
After reading and finding out things I did and didn't know about myself I am learning that I have a lot of good qualities to becoming a good writer, but I have a lot more work when it comes to becoming a confident writer and becoming more interactive within groups of people. I think that the test will assist me with my writing because I had a lot of good comparisons with the Typology test and what I had thought of myself when it came to writing. I also had gotten new information that I really didn't think about myself, but was like hey I actually do these things! Now I can work on the negatives that I had about writing and apply it later on.
