Typology Reflection

I took the Jung Typology test and I found out a lot of neat things that I agreed with about my self when it comes to writing, but I also read a few things that were disagreeable. When it comes to learning style, the Jung test said that I like material to be planned and organized, I require encouragement, and prefer to study with others. All of these things were on the dot. The only difference was that I have to write ideas on paper before I go right into talking with people. I focus better with organization and having my own thoughts first.
Finally when I got to my writing style the Typology test said that I like to personalize my writing and that I may have trouble with impersonal issues. Also, I had read that my type of learner benefits from revising work. and last it was agreeable that I complete work on time. I really liked the contrasts that I had to the test. Those were that: when I am in a group, I am actually not good at taking the lead. This is because I feel intimidated by others. Writing for me is hard work and unlike what the test said I do not get motivated at all to write and last I am a frequent procrastinator.
After reading and finding out things I did and didn't know about myself I am learning that I have a lot of good qualities to becoming a good writer, but I have a lot more work when it comes to becoming a confident writer and becoming more interactive within groups of people. I think that the test will assist me with my writing because I had a lot of good comparisons with the Typology test and what I had thought of myself when it came to writing. I also had gotten new information that I really didn't think about myself, but was like hey I actually do these things! Now I can work on the negatives that I had about writing and apply it later on.

  1. Although you reflect, your audience does not what you are reflecting on. What was your type indicator? What do your indicators mean? How do these indicators compare to who you think you are? Be specific. There are many type indicator possibilities and we can't know them all by heart. Consider your audience. ~Ms. A.
